§ 01 — Overview
Welcome to Better Every Single Day (“BESD,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). This Privacy Policy governs the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of personal and financial information when you use our mobile application and web platform (collectively, the “Platform”).
BESD is a comprehensive financial management platform designed for individuals and businesses in the United States. The Platform consolidates key financial dashboard components that are powered by the following data aggregators and internal systems:
- Assets and Net Worth
- Liabilities
- Bank Accounts (view and track all linked accounts in one place; the Platform does not initiate any transfers or actions)
- Debt Management
- Saving Tracker
- Investments (performance tracking only)
- Budgeting
- Subscriptions
- Cash Flow
- Bills
- Home Value
- Car Value (car value, car insights, and car metadata only)
- Insurance Coverage (insurance payments tracker)
- Credit Overview
- Identity Protection
- Privacy Protection
- Loan Marketplace (Feature Survey)
- Insurance Marketplace (Feature Survey)
- Hey-B AI Assistant
Because we handle sensitive financial data, we maintain rigorous privacy and security standards.
We collect and process the financial information necessary to operate the Platform’s Dashboard Components so that you can view, organize, and manage your finances in one place. Investment Brokers and Bank Transaction Data is obtained through Plaid. Credit, Home-Value, Identity, and Privacy-Protection Data is obtained through Array. Car Value, Insights, and Metadata is obtained through Marketcheck. The in-house Hey-B AI Assistant operates exclusively on data already present within your BESD account.
When the Platform displays potential Loan, Insurance, or other Financial Products, it does so by matching your profile against Eligibility Criteria that have been Pre-Acquired from Third-Party Providers. We show you products for which you may qualify. We do not transmit your financial profile to those providers for targeting or solicitation. Your information is shared with a provider only when You Independently choose to request a real-time quote or purchase a product.
We do not sell or pre-share your personal or financial data to third parties for advertising or any other commercial purpose.
By registering for or using the Platform, you agree to this Policy. If you are a Business User, this Policy applies to both your personal account data and the business financial data you enter or sync. If you do not agree with this Policy, please discontinue use and request account deletion.

§ 05 — Investment Broker Account and Bank Account Linking (Plaid)
A core feature of BESD is the ability to link your bank accounts and investment broker accounts for automatic syncing of balances, transactions, and related financial data. This connection is facilitated by Plaid Technologies, Inc., a licensed financial data aggregation provider.
| Topic | Details |
|---|---|
| How the connection works | When you link a bank or investment broker account through Plaid, you authorize Plaid — not BESD — to access your financial institution on your behalf. BESD receives only the data that Plaid forwards to us. |
| Data BESD receives | The data returned by Plaid, depending on the accounts linked and products enabled. |
| Credentials | We do not receive or store your banking or brokerage login credentials. |
| Consent required | Linking is optional. You must provide explicit consent via Plaid’s secure OAuth flow before any account data is accessed. You can revoke this connection at any time from Settings. |
| What Plaid accesses | Account balances and account details (name, type, mask), transaction history (including merchant, category, and location data), recurring payment information, liability details (balances, interest rates, payment amounts and due dates for credit cards, loans, and mortgages), and investment holdings and investment transactions where the user has linked investment accounts. |
| No money movement | Plaid does not give the app the ability to move money or change accounts. |
| Revoking access | You can disconnect any linked bank or investment broker account at any time in App Settings. Disconnecting stops future syncing but does not delete previously synced records unless you submit a data deletion request. |
| Plaid’s own policy | Plaid’s privacy policy governs how Plaid handles your data on their end: plaid.com/legal/privacy-policy. |
§ 06 — Credit Score & Financial Risk Profile Data
BESD retrieves your credit score and detailed credit report data via Array, a credit data platform that integrates directly with major credit bureaus. The credit score provided is a VantageScore. This data is used to show you your current credit health, explain what factors are affecting your score, determine which loan and insurance products you may be eligible for, and to help trace and prevent fraud.
Credit score and report retrieval for display within the BESD app uses a soft inquiry that does not affect your credit score. If you choose to initiate a loan application with a third-party lender through the Platform, that lender may perform a hard inquiry as part of their independent underwriting process. BESD does not control or initiate hard inquiries.
| Topic | Details |
|---|---|
| Data retrieved | The full set of data that constitutes a credit report, including: current VantageScore credit score and score factors; credit accounts / tradelines (open and closed); account balances, credit limits, and utilization; payment history (on-time, late, and delinquent payments); credit inquiries; collections; public records (where available); length and mix of credit history; and related credit profile information returned by the credit bureaus through Array. |
| How it’s used | To display your credit health dashboard, identify factors affecting your score, filter loan and insurance products by eligibility, generate personalized repayment plans, and to help trace and prevent fraud. |
| Score change alerts | You will be notified when there are significant changes to your credit report, such as new accounts opened, late payments recorded, or score changes exceeding a defined threshold. |
| Consent | Credit data retrieval requires your explicit consent. You can withdraw this consent at any time, which will prevent future credit data syncing. |
| Third-party disclaimer | The accuracy, completeness, and reliability of credit data retrieved from Array remains the responsibility of Array and the underlying credit bureaus. BESD is responsible only for the processing and presentation of data as received. |
§ 07 — Vehicle Data
BESD uses Marketcheck to obtain your specific vehicle-related data and VIN-related specifications.
This information is used to evaluate vehicle behavior. From the data, BESD generates a vehicle report that serves as a reliable source of information. The report and underlying data are integrated and cross-referenced with the Platform’s financial management features so that the vehicle’s value, risks, and related costs can be reflected in the user’s overall financial picture. The same data may also support eligibility assessments for insurance and financial products, personalization of the Hey-B AI Assistant, and relevant recommendations for car parts, warranties, products, or deals.
| Topic | Details |
|---|---|
| Data retrieved | Car value, car insights, car metadata, pricing, market trends, and VIN-related specifications. |
| Purpose | To evaluate the vehicle as a financial asset or liability, generate a vehicle report used as a source of trust, and integrate that information across the Platform’s financial management features. This helps users understand vehicle behavior and related risks, including maintenance, recalls, replacements, depreciation, and incident probability. |
| Consent & access | Use of Marketcheck data for a specific vehicle requires your interaction with the relevant feature. We do not continuously collect vehicle data without a clear purpose. |
| No credential storage | Marketcheck does not involve bank or credit credentials. Only commercially licensed vehicle and automotive information (and any vehicle identifiers you choose to provide) is used. |
§ 08 — Sharing your data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or financial data. The following describes the limited circumstances in which data is shared.
Service providers (infrastructure)
We share data with trusted technology providers who help operate the Platform — including Plaid (bank connectivity), Array (credit data), Marketcheck (vehicle and market data) when you decide to use them to sync any specific feature and at the time of data actualization (“refresh”), and cloud hosting providers, email delivery services, and push notification providers. These parties are contractually bound to process data only as directed by us.
Financial service providers (affiliate partners)
When you choose to apply for a loan, insurance policy, or other financial product shown in the app, your application data and relevant financial profile information is shared with the selected provider to process your application. This sharing requires your explicit action and consent (tapping “Apply” or equivalent). See §09 for more details.
Service provider users (advisors/banks on the platform)
If you initiate a connection with a Service Provider through the Platform (e.g., a financial advisor or bank, app support), you will be asked to consent to sharing specified financial health data with that provider. This consent is separate, revocable, and specific to each provider connection. See §10 for more details.
Business team members
If you are a Business User with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) configured, designated team members (e.g., accountants, managers) with assigned roles can access the business financial data relevant to their role. You, as the account owner, control all role assignments.
Platform administrators
Super Administrators have access to all user accounts and financial data (if previously granted by the user) for the purpose of platform support, management, compliance, business verification, and dispute resolution. All admin actions are logged in the audit trail.
Legal disclosures
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, subpoena, or in response to lawful requests from government authorities. Where permitted, we will attempt to notify you before disclosing.
Business transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all assets, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide advance notice and, where required by law, obtain renewed consent.
§ 09 — Affiliate products & financial recommendations
BESD displays curated loan, insurance, and credit card products to users based on their financial profile, credit score, vehicle market data (where relevant), and eligibility criteria. Many of these products are offered through affiliate partnerships with banks, lenders, and insurance companies.
Affiliate disclosure
BESD may receive a commission when you apply for or are approved for a financial product accessed through the Platform. This does not affect the products displayed to you — recommendations are based on your financial profile and eligibility, not commission rates. We disclose all affiliate relationships within the product listings.
Personalization basis
Products shown are filtered by your financial profile (Credit, Assets, Liabilities). You see products you are likely to qualify for and that help you achieve your stated goals, not a generic catalogue.
Application data sharing
When you initiate an application for a product, the relevant data fields required by that provider (e.g., name, income, credit score, employment status, vehicle information if relevant) are shared. You will see exactly what is being shared before confirming.
In-app application tracking
Once you apply, you can track the status and approval of your application within the app. Application status updates are provided by the respective financial institution.
Insurance products
Insurance recommendations (health, life, home, auto) are matched based on your stated preferences, financial profile, and, where relevant, vehicle market data. Auto/Home/Health insurance matching does not rely on credit score.
Admin oversight
All financial products displayed on the Platform are reviewed and approved by our Super Administrator before being made available. Affiliate relationships and commission structures are monitored to ensure they comply with platform policies and applicable regulations.
§ 10 — Service provider data access
Service Providers (banks, advisors, and affiliate partners) who join the BESD platform have a limited, consent-gated view of user data to facilitate their services.
User-initiated connections
Service providers only access a user’s financial health data after the user explicitly consents to that specific connection. The consent request specifies exactly which data fields will be shared.
Data visible to providers
Upon consented connection: credit score summary, stated financial goals, relevant expense categories, vehicle-related context where applicable, and any documents the user chooses to upload or share within the Task Center.
Task center documents
Users may submit or receive documents (quotes, insurance plans, contracts) through the in-app Task Center. These documents are stored securely and are accessible only to the parties involved.
Live chat & video calls
Communication sessions between users and service providers are conducted securely within the Platform. Session metadata (time, duration, participants) is logged. Call content is recorded or stored only when explicitly stated during a session.
Revoking provider access
You can disconnect a service provider connection at any time from your Profile Settings. Disconnection stops future data sharing but does not delete records of past interactions or submitted documents.
Provider data we collect
From Service Providers themselves, we collect their organization profile, lead and user activity metrics, commission earnings, and document transaction records for platform management and compliance purposes.
§ 11 — AI-powered features & analytics (Hey-B AI Assistant)
BESD uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to generate personalized financial insights, suggestions, financial reports, and forecasts.
The Hey-B AI Assistant is designed to co-assist users in managing their finances more efficiently. It analyzes the data already present in the user’s account to provide feedback, recommendations, and narrative financial reports. It can also support document prefilling based on those reports.
The AI is intended to help users improve cash flow, strengthen their financial profile, increase assets, reduce liabilities, and receive more relevant product personalization. It operates across the Platform’s components to support these goals.
All AI-generated insights, suggestions, reports, and forecasts are produced from the individual user’s own data. They are not based on aggregated cross-user profiles and are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute regulated financial advice. For decisions involving significant financial commitments, users should consult a licensed financial advisor.
§ 12 — Communications
We send you communications necessary to operate the Platform and, where you have opted in, informational updates.
| Communication type | Channel | Opt-out? |

In-app chat messages between users and service providers are private to those parties. We do not read private chat messages except as required for dispute resolution or by law.
§ 13 — Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as required to fulfill legal obligations. The table below outlines retention periods by data type.
| Data category | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Account profile & credentials | Duration of account + 90 days after deletion request |

| User app usage preferences (Features setups) | Duration of account + 90 days after deletion |

When you request account deletion, we will anonymize or delete your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required by law to retain specific records.
Certain financial records (loan application records, business invoices, transaction records used for tax purposes) must be retained for up to 7 years under US financial services regulations, even after account deletion. We will clearly communicate which records cannot be deleted and why when processing your deletion request.
§ 14 — Your rights
You have the following rights with respect to your personal and financial data. These rights apply to all users and are inclusive of California residents’ rights under the CCPA and rights under other applicable US state privacy laws.
Access
You have the right to request a copy of all personal data we hold about you, including the categories collected, the sources, the purposes of use, and with whom it has been shared.
Correction
You can update most personal information directly in the app (Profile Settings). You may also request correction of inaccurate data that cannot be edited in-app.
Deletion
You can request permanent account deletion. We will delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, subject to retention requirements under financial services laws (certain records must be kept for up to 7 years).
Portability
You have the right to receive a machine-readable export of your personal financial data. You can use the in-app Export feature (CSV/XLSX) for transaction and budget data. For a full data export, contact us at privacy@besdfinancehub.com.
Withdraw consent
You can withdraw consent for Plaid bank linking, Array credit data access, and any Marketcheck-related features at any time in Settings. Withdrawal stops future data collection but does not delete previously collected data unless you also submit a deletion request.
Temporary deactivation
You can temporarily deactivate your account from Settings. Your data is preserved and the account can be reactivated at any time.
Opt-out of sale
We do not sell your personal or financial data. There is nothing to opt out of in this regard.
Non-discrimination
Exercising any privacy right will not result in denial of service, a degraded experience, different pricing, or any form of penalty.
To exercise any of the above rights, email privacy@besdfinancehub.com with the subject line “Privacy Rights Request.” We will verify your identity and respond within 45 days. California residents may specify “CCPA Request” for state-specific processing timelines.
§ 15 — Children’s privacy
BESD is a financial management platform intended exclusively for adults aged 18 and over. The Platform involves access to credit data, bank accounts, loans, insurance products, and related financial tools — all of which require adult legal capacity.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a minor has created an account, we will promptly deactivate the account and delete all associated data. If you believe a minor has registered, please notify us immediately at privacy@besdfinancehub.com.
§ 16 — Security
Given the sensitivity of financial data, BESD implements a layered security architecture. These measures apply across our app, backend services, and admin systems.
- SSL / TLS encryption in transit
- Encrypted data at rest
- Two-factor authentication (2FA)
- Role-based access control (RBAC)
- Admin audit logging
- Session management & timeout
- OTP verification on registration
- No Financial Institutions credential storage
- Admin session anomaly monitoring
Bank credentials
We never store your bank login credentials. Plaid’s OAuth flow handles authentication directly with your financial institution. We store only the data Plaid forwards to us.
Biometric data
Face ID and fingerprint authentication are handled entirely by your device’s secure enclave (iOS) or Android Biometric API. Biometric data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
Business RBAC
Business accounts with multiple users (accountant, manager, admin roles) are governed by role-based access control, ensuring each team member only sees data relevant to their assigned role.
Admin security
All Super Administrator accounts require 2FA. Admin sessions are monitored for unusual activity, and inactive sessions are automatically terminated. All admin actions generate immutable audit log entries.
No security system is perfect. In the event of a data breach that is likely to affect your rights and freedoms, we will notify affected users in accordance with applicable law, including the nature of the breach, the categories of data involved, and the steps we are taking to remediate it.
§ 17 — Third-party services
BESD integrates with the following third-party services to deliver core functionality. Each provider operates under its own terms and privacy policy.
| Provider | Purpose | Data shared |

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services once your data is transmitted to them. We strongly encourage you to review the privacy policies of Plaid, Array, and Marketcheck in particular, given the sensitive or commercial nature of the data they handle.
§ 18 — Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Platform evolves, as new features or capabilities are added, or when legal or regulatory requirements change. Our commitment is to keep you informed of any meaningful changes.
When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this document, send a push notification and/or email to all registered users summarizing the changes, and, where required by law, seek renewed consent before applying the new terms.
Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy. If you do not agree to a revised Policy, you should cease use and request account deletion.
